These Terms and Conditions apply to the use of this website and to the purchase of artworks,
prints, and other artistic products available through my online store. By accessing the website
or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these
Terms and Conditions. Please review them carefully before completing your purchase.

1. Orders
1.1. Orders are generally prepared and dispatched within 7 business days from the date of
purchase, unless a different processing time is indicated for a specific product.
1.2. I provide international shipping. Applicable shipping fees and estimated delivery times
will be shown at checkout. By completing an order, you confirm your agreement with these
Terms and Conditions.
1.3. Any customs duties, import taxes, or other charges imposed by the destination
country are the responsibility of the buyer.

2. Prices and Payments
2.1. The prices displayed on the website include all applicable fees and taxes, unless
otherwise stated.
2.2. Available payment method is Paypal. If you would like to pay using another method,
please contact me at corneliadruta.pp@gmail.com and I'll be happy to assist you.
When placing an order, you agree to provide accurate and complete payment details.
2.3. In the event that a pricing or listing error occurs, I reserve the right to cancel or amend
the order, or to contact you to determine how you would like to proceed.

3. Returns and Refunds
3.1. If your order arrives damaged or defective, you must contact me within 48 hours of
delivery and provide clear photographs or videos showing the condition of the package
and/or artwork.3.2. If an item is damaged or lost during transportation, I may offer a refund, replacement, or
return solution, depending on the circumstances and availability. Any approved refund will
be processed within 7 business days after the returned item has been received and inspected.
3.3. In order for a return or refund to be considered:
• The item must be returned in its original condition and packaging.
• The buyer is responsible for ensuring that the artwork is packaged safely for return.
Insufficient or inappropriate packaging may result in a 50% deduction from the
refund.
• Each situation will be reviewed individually in order to determine the most
appropriate solution.
3.4. Exceptions to the right of return (under Article L221-28 of the EU Consumer Code):
Original, handmade artworks that are made or customised specifically for the buyer are not
eligible for return, except when:
• the artwork has been damaged during transportation; or
• the delivered artwork is different from the item ordered.

3.5. Colour differences between digital images and original artwork
Please be aware that the colours shown in photographs on the website may not appear exactly
the same as the colours of the physical artwork. Differences may occur due to individual
screen settings, brightness, contrast, display technology, and surrounding lighting conditions.
Before purchasing, you are welcome to request additional photographs or a short video of the
actual artwork in order to better evaluate its colours, texture, and details.
Once payment has been completed, differences between the colours displayed digitally and
those of the physical artwork will not, by themselves, constitute grounds for a return or
refund.
This does not affect your rights in cases where the artwork is damaged, defective, or does not
correspond to the order, as described in Section 3.4.
3.6. Any complaint concerning the condition or conformity of an order must be submitted
within 7 days of delivery and must be supported by photographic evidence where applicable.
3.7. Due to the unique and artistic nature of original artworks, a change of personal
preference or simply not liking the artwork is not considered a valid reason for return.

3.8. Return Procedure
If you wish to return an item for a reason permitted under these Terms and Conditions, you
must first contact me by email at corneliadruta.pp@gmail.com.
A return may only be made after receiving approval and the appropriate return instructions,
including the correct return address and, where applicable, a return label with insurance.
3.9. Any return made without prior notification or approval, as well as any alteration,
modification, or manipulation of the artwork without prior agreement, may result in the loss
of eligibility for a refund. This requirement is intended to protect original and unique
artworks from damage during the return process.

4. Delivery Issues
• If delivery cannot be completed because of an issue attributable to the buyer, such as
an incorrect or incomplete address, the buyer is responsible for any additional
delivery costs.
• If the delivery problem was caused by an error on my part, I will cover the
reasonable cost of re-delivery.
• If the parcel is delivered to a pickup point and is not collected within the required
period, the buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for any subsequent delivery.
If the parcel is refused or returned because it was not collected, no refund will be
provided for the artwork or the original shipping costs.

5. Intellectual Property Rights
5.1. All original artworks, prints, photographs, designs, and other artistic materials displayed
on this website are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
5.2. Purchasing an artwork or print does not transfer any copyright or intellectual
property rights to the buyer. Reproduction, copying, commercial use, publication, or other
use of the artwork or its images without prior written permission is prohibited.

6. Limitation of Liability
6.1. Although I make every reasonable effort to ensure that the information published on this
website is accurate and current, I do not guarantee that all information is complete, error-free,
or continuously up to date. Use of the website is at your own discretion and risk.
6.2. To the extent permitted by applicable law, I shall not be held responsible for any direct,
indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from the use of this website or
from the purchase or use of its products.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
7.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be interpreted in accordance with
applicable European Union legislation and the applicable laws of the country in which the
seller is legally established.7.2. Any dispute arising in connection with these Terms and Conditions or an order shall be
handled by the competent courts and authorities in accordance with applicable law.

8. Custom Orders & Additional Information
• For custom sizes, materials, colours, or other special requests, please contact me
directly at corneliadruta.pp@gmail.com and provide your requirements and, where
relevant, image references.
• Custom paintings are generally completed within up to 8 weeks, depending on the
size, technique, drying time, and complexity of the artwork. Any additional costs
related to size, materials, framing, or shipping will be agreed upon individually.
• Once a custom order is accepted, you will receive an estimated completion date and
payment instructions. Work on the commission will begin after full payment or the
agreed advance payment has been received.
• If I am unable to complete the artwork within the agreed timeframe, I will offer either
a full refund or, with your agreement, an alternative completion date or revised
terms.
• Advance payments or deposits are non-refundable when the buyer cancels the
commission for a reason unrelated to an error or failure on the artist's part.
• If the artwork has been completed and the buyer does not pay the remaining balance,
the deposit will not be refunded and the commission will be considered cancelled by
the buyer.
• The full remaining balance must be paid before the artwork is shipped.
• The rules concerning returns, refunds, and refusal of artworks described in Section 3
– Returns and Refunds also apply to custom orders, to the extent permitted by
applicable law.
• Unless otherwise agreed, paintings are supplied:
o Unframed
o Unvarnished where the painting technique or subject requires it

9.Customs Duties & Import Taxes
Shipping costs are charged at checkout and are based on the destination country.
Please note that customs duties, import taxes, VAT, customs clearance fees, or any other
charges imposed by the destination country are not included in the purchase price or
shipping fee.
These charges, if applicable, are the responsibility of the buyer and may be collected by the
customs authorities or the shipping carrier upon import or delivery.
Customs regulations and import charges vary from country to country, and we recommend
checking with your local customs authority if you are unsure about potential additional costs.
Cornelia Druta is not responsible for customs duties, import taxes, or delays caused by
customs clearance.
